Today Wellspring Living is celebrating because the funding goal was reached through the 72 Days for Freedom campaign through Passion City Church! People have been praying consistently for the past 72 days to end modern-day slavery, and I believe it has made a monumental effect in the spiritual realm.
Outside of praying, fully funding the project, and rallying the community of faith to advocate, this campaign has also inspired people to drive their own campaigns to engage people in this cause. One young man in particular is using his love for roller blading to bring awareness to the issue and raise funds for Wellspring Living. His name is Gentry Darby, he is on the Touch Team at Passion City Church, and is the innovator behind the 72 Miles for Freedom event.
He is hosting an event to encourage people to roller blade, skateboard, walk, or bike the Silver Comet Trail to raise awareness and funds for Wellspring Living. He has included all of the details for this event on the 72 Miles for Freedom Facebook page. He is looking for people to skate, volunteer, walk and donate to this event! Here are the event details:

What: A fundraiser and awareness event for Wellspring Living incorporating roller blading, skating, biking and walking on the Silver Comet Trail.

Cost: FREE to participate. We are encouraging donations to Wellspring Living.
