Hello! My name is Jessica Smith, and I am the mysterious voice behind the words you are reading on this screen. I am the Communications Coordinator for Wellspring Living, a non-profit organization aiding in the restoration of victims of sexual abuse and exploitation. Wherever this blog may find you, in a comfy chair at Starbucks with a steaming cup ‘o joe in your hand, a cramped office cubicle, or an internet cafe in South Africa, my desire is that this blog brings you hope. I’m not going to shy away from the statistics, or refuse to tell you the sticky stories, but I am going to bring it back to our foundation, which is hope in Our Creator. The reality is, young girls are bought by regular ‘Johns’ everyday, and in your neighborhood. But the issue is not too big for us to handle. We just need you; we need advocates for the issue, and people who are willing to stand up against the norm. And I think we can do it. All we need is a little hope.

Jessica – I’m a reporter writing a piece about the recent trafficking conference in Georgia – I’d like to highlight the work of Wellspring Living – I write for the Juvenile Justice Information Exchange (www.jjie.org). My name is Cherie K. Miller please contact via email: cheriekmiller@gmail.com
I am glad to have found this ministry. I am a maintenance technician for a highrise in Atlanta. I have seen people come and go from here from all walks of life. My heart needed a purpose to be part of something in helping through my gifts and talents. Thank you Jessica for keeping this site up to date for others to become aware of what is going on in this world. Blessings to you our voice.
